Ohio Behavioral Health
This web application was developed to meet the information needs of the providers, boards, state and federal systems. The data collected in this application is used for the SAPT Block Grant, National Outcome Measures (NOMS), Treatment Episode Data Set (TEDS) and Government Performance and Results Act (GPRA). This system captures a “picture” of the client at the time of Admission and Discharge. Additional data is also captured for the Women’s, STAR-SI, TASC and HB484 programs.
A training site has been developed to give everyone an opportunity to experience the ‘Ohio Behavioral Health’ web application.
Getting Started
The training site can be accessed at the following web site: http://prod.ada.ohio.gov/turnstile. You will need to have an ODADAS user account to access the BH application. See the Step by Step Create User Account document for instructions on creating an account. The second step is to request to join an organization; those instructions can also be found in the Step by Step Create User Account document. Going Live
A production version of the ‘Ohio Behavioral Health’ (prior version was called the ‘Web Based Behavioral Health System’) is available. To begin submitting ‘live’ data, each user will need to have an ODADAS account. If they don’t have an account, one can be created at the following site: https://prod.ada.ohio.gov/Registrar/NewUser.aspx Once an user account has been established the provider should send an e-mail to HelpDesk@ada.ohio.gov identifying their MACSIS provider number and who at their location will be responsible for managing user accounts. This person will have the responsibility of approving new user requests to join their organization and adding role(s) to their accounts. Forms and Documentation for ODMH SMD SED Mental Health Records in OH BH
The Ohio Department of Mental Health, in collaboration with the Department of Alcohol and Drug Addiction Services, has developed a record system in the OH BH for reporting admission and outcome information on mental health consumers who meet criteria for SMD or SED. Records for SMD/SED consumers can be entered by web or batch.
