Conference Goal
The goal of the Ohio Prevention and Education Conference (OPEC) is to revitalize and build on the capacity of Ohio’s prevention workforce to implement of culturally appropriate,
science-driven strategies intended to facilitate attitude and behavioral change for individuals
and/or communities.

Who Should Attend OPEC 2012?
Professionals working in the fields of alcohol and other drug prevention, mental health
promotion, education, law enforcement, juvenile justice and public health. Members of community coalitions, faith-based organizations and others interested in promoting collaboration across systems.
